In order to achieve our ambitious objectives and extend our growing coverage even further, we are searching for self-motivated individuals to help us target suitable business owners in your chosen area. So, you identify potential clients, their individual business needs, and suitability to Bartercard before signing them up as a member.

The Bartercard franchise has been especially engineered to provide you with all the necessary tools required to establish yourself quickly and effectively. Supplying you with a proven framework that will allow you to make a success of your new franchise with us.

What you will receive

To ensure you have everything needed to manage your Bartercard Area Franchise successfully, we do our best to ensure you hit the ground running, providing step-by-step guidance so you know you are never alone on your new venture.

Training

At Bartercard, you will receive top-level training and support from our franchise team, alongside a whole host of essential tools to get you going.

To start you will get up to 20 training credits, with each one worth up to £200 per person, so you can assemble the right team for you right from the off. Additionally, one weeks intensive field training and enrolment in our post training care programme will also form a key part of the early process, giving you a comprehensive and confident outlook on all aspects of the franchise.

Ongoing and Localised Support
We make sure that you’ve always got us on hand if needed, so we guarantee a minimum of one monthly catch-up call each from the National Sales Mangers and Head Office Support Team to see how they can help. Quarterly franchisee office visits, bi-annual conferences and monthly regional training groups will also mean plenty of face-to-face support over the course of each year too.

Marketing
Our promotional programmes are focused on educating businesses on the benefits of modern bartering. We use a range of diversified channels to build our brand perception and get across our core message. Most of our marketing activities to establish lead generation are centralised to make your job as a franchisee easier, so you can rely on Head Office to get the message out and drive your base. Our external marketing includes local and national ads online and in print, widespread sponsorship, direct mail campaigns.

The investment

To become a Bartercard Area Franchisee an initial training and establishment fee (Cash and Trade blends are available) is required to get started. Starting at just £5,000, varying upwards depending on the franchise area size agreement. Government led funding is available for up to £25,000!
